Lance Maharry
Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, growing up I never aspired to be involved with the industry I now know and love. I attended Kendall College here in Chicago obtaining a degree in Culinary Arts while working in the industry. I’ve found myself at restaurants like Big Jones, ThreeHouse and currently a Sous chef at The Hopleaf in Andersonville. I will never forget my first weeks, thrown into the fire of Chicago restaurant week at one of Chicago’s most notorious establishments, how exciting. I strive to always learn as much as I can, but for now I love to make others happy through my cooking, and this is a living testament.
What does Gas&Nectar do?
Gas&Nectar is a multimedia company centered around a culinary theme. We host culinary pop ups around the U.S. as well as put out recipes and tutorials users can access. This is just one service we offer. Surrounded by such amazing culture and talent, we will also put out various web series on YouTube streamlined through our site involving rappers, artists, fashion designers, chefs, influencers and many more great guests.
What is Gas&Nectar?
The meaning behind Gas&Nectar is as follows, my pals and I whenever a food item is so tasty we refer to it as “Gas” argo food, and when I think of the word “Nectar” I think of a rich, tasty refreshing beverage argo drink. In closing I hope I can share my love for Gas&Nectar with all who will partake.
